Is 'moderation' sabotaging your weight loss?
Nov 08, 2025"Everything in moderation" is a phrase I hear a lot, whether it's chocolate, alcohol, screen time, {insert your vice here}
But, this concept of allowing moderation is sabotaging your health goals.
Why?
- Moderation is undefined. Is that 1 chocolate bar a week? A day?
- Having unclear boundaries is a licence to go off track and cheat the system. Give your self-sabotage demon an inch and he/she will take a mile, derailing progress.
- A lack of consistency will delay results, leaving you open to losing momentum and giving up
You wouldn't accept 'moderation' from your team or yourself when it comes to your business, so why allow it to impede your health and wellbeing?
A good manager creates boundaries, consistency and motivation and your business would not succeed without it. A good coach does the same for you.
