Chia Seeds - a powerhouse for menopause!

Why I love Chia Seeds
Chia seeds are tiny seeds that come from the Salvia hispanica plant, a member of the mint family. Despite their size, they’re packed with nutrients—so much so that they’re often called a “superfood.”
Originally grown in Mexico and Central America, chia seeds were a staple for ancient Aztec and Mayan cultures. In fact, the word chia means “strength,” which makes sense considering how nutrient-dense they are.
These little seeds are rich in fibre, protein, omega-3 fatty acids, and antioxidants. One of their standout features is their ability to absorb up to 10 times their weight in liquid, forming a gel-like texture. This makes them great for puddings, smoothies, baking, and even as an egg replacement in vegan cooking.
Chia seeds are easy to use, mild in flavour, and incredibly versatile—making them a simple way to boost the nutrition of everyday meals.
